Information about joining our research community.
Registration uses your email address and password. You can save your preference for receiving research invitations. Contact details and invitation preferences are private.
We use your invitation preference to understand whether you want to hear about future research. You can change it by signing in to your account. Joining is voluntary and does not require you to complete a survey.
Your private research profile records your first name, age, gender, postcode, state or territory, and employment status. Individual surveys may ask additional questions about local residency. We use this information to match you with eligible studies. You can update your profile from your dashboard.
Answers and progress are saved while you complete a survey so you can return later. Research staff can analyse answers with the demographic profile recorded when you started. Standard research exports use a respondent ID instead of your account ID, name or email. Responses remain linked to your account within our system, and free-text answers or demographic details can still identify you. Avoid including names or contact details in free-text answers.
Feedback submitted from your dashboard is private to Australian Poll staff and linked to your account so we can understand participant concerns.
To ask about your information or request account removal, contact info@australianpoll.com.au. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before acting on a request.
